Sylvia Brownlee
Since her childhood, Sylvia Brownlee has been driven by a deep desire to make a meaningful
impact in the beauty industry. With over 29 years in the beauty industry, Sylvia Brownlee has
dedicated her career to transforming lives through skincare.
After excelling in salon
management and education, she found her true passion in helping those with acne and hyperpigmentation—a journey inspired by her personal struggles with these conditions.
In 2017, Sylvia founded Skin by Brownlee & Co with a deep belief in the transformative power of proactive skincare for adults with acne, hyperpigmentation, and aging concerns. Her passion lies in educating others on how to love and care for their skin, instilling a profound sense of self-worth and well-being. Skin by Brownlee & Co continues to set the standard for excellence in skincare, offering innovative solutions tailored to individual needs.
Today, Skin by Brownlee & Co proudly offers over 20 SKUs, including skincare, tools, and ingestibles. Sylvia's unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation continues to set new standards in skincare, helping individuals achieve the flawless complexion they’ve always desired.

Brittani Gray
Brittani Gray, a proud native of Cincinnati, Ohio, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Central State University. Transitioning from the realm of teaching, Brittani pursued her passion for hairstyling, graduating from the Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology. Today, she is the Founder and visual artist of Be Natural Haircare for the past decade.
Combining her love for education, hair, and activism, Gray made significant strides by collaborating with Cincinnati City Council to establish a nondiscrimination ordinance safeguarding natural hair types and styles in the workplace in October 2019.
With a passion for storytelling through hair, she crafts editorial, avant-garde, and high-fashion looks that redefine beauty especially through textured hair. Her work has been seen on local publications as well as CNN, Netflix, Vogue, The Met Gala, and several New York Fashion Weeks. Brittani’s artistry elevates campaigns, runway shows with precision, creativity, and a fearless approach with different medias to hairstyling.
Expanding her community outreach, Brittani founded Girls Health Period (GHP) in 2018, a non-profit who’s mission is to educate, equip, and empower students experiencing menstruation and their support systems by providing resources that build informed and inclusive communities.
GHP’s Influence is felt with a reach extending to over 75 local schools in Cincinnati and spanning across more than 100 schools nationwide, GHP is making a profound impact. Brittani’s tireless dedication persists as she strives for a community characterized by equity and empowerment, fostering an environment where young girls can mature into empowered women.”

Nigel Mask
From a very young age Nigel has had a gift for seeing and valuing the unique characteristics in the arts. Ranging from music, to hair and people. As a self taught braider in elementary school, Nigel began beautifying the tresses of his classmates as early as the sixth grade. The entrepreneurial spirit was alive and well so much so that he was encouraged to pursue the cosmetology track as a vocation at Mansfield Senior High School by his parents. At the age of 17, Nigel received his cosmetology license.
Deciding to put his career in the beauty industry on hold, he eagerly pursued a degree in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati. Upon graduation, he was extended the opportunity to pursue a full time career in the haircare industry. In 2013, he began his new endeavor. Since that time, he has become the sole proprietor of Nigel’s Gifted Hands, LLC, located in Cincinnati, Ohio and obtained his M.S. in Executive Leadership and Organizational Change at Northern Kentucky University in 2019.
In addition to his academic pursuits and now contributing to the beauty industry for over 10 years, his experiences and teachings span the topics of healthy hair education, image consulting and community outreach focusing on entrepreneurship and leadership.
He has served as a panelist for the University of Cincinnati’s annual Student Leadership Conference, speaker at the annual Success Looks Like ME program at Butler College Prep (Chicago, Ill), lead stylist with the Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati (I Shall Not Be Moved, 2022 & Who All Over There, 2023), stylist on the Netflix Original “Say I Do” season 1, testing stylist for P&G Pantene Pro-V Gold Series Relaunch, hair educator for My Black Is Beautiful (MBIB) at the annual Sally Beauty Walk and guest stylist for the DIY University By Sally Beauty Black Panther: Wakanda Forever with MBIB
Nigel desires to empower people to challenge the boundaries of their comfort zone in all areas of life while using their God gifts and talents to elevate their communities. All the while presenting the best version of themselves through styling.

Mason Berger
Mason has been practicing hairstyling for around 11 years. She graduated from the Aveda Fredric's Institute in 2015, and grew her passion for hair for another five years in various managing and educational salon roles in her hometown of Cincinnati, before becoming self employed in 2020. Mason specializes in alternative styles, such as vivid colors, mullets, shags, and precision haircutting. Though she does not limit herself to those styles and is happy to provide a wide range of hairstyling ability. Mason believes that everyone's style is unique, and should be celebrated. She strives to create a salon environment where her clients can be the most authentic versions of themselves they can be. When you sit in her chair, she wants to make sure you have her undivided attention, and that you leave the salon feeling renewed, energetic, and confident.
Mason is extremely passionate about environmentalism and human rights issues. She hopes that her platform online and behind the chair can help her inspire everyone she meets to become more educated and responsible when it comes to our planet, and the beautiful people that inhabit it. She's proud to call herself a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community and eagerly welcomes anyone and everyone into her chair.
She's excited to share her salon home, Electric Wizard Salon, with her friend of around nine years, Shelby Grassman. They care deeply for all of their clients, and are proud to encourage their clients to express themselves freely in any way they feel most comfortable.
